Ken Stabile photographs wherever he is, often using plastic lenses on plastic cameras that require a good deal of black tape to keep the film from being fogged due to extraneous light leaks. The resulting negatives are unpredictable. The images distorted, dream-like, blurry, and sharp, sometimes all at the same time.
Stabile’s work has shown in galleries throughout the northeast and is held in private collections
throughout the U.S.
