Bella Kotak is a fine art, fashion, and conceptual artist based in England. Her work celebrates the ethereal state of nature coupled with the femininity, beauty, and strength of women. Bella’s creations are like stepping into a story, fairytale-like land where magic is found in the most ordinary of locations. A place where free spirited, independent, beautiful, strong-hearted characters come to life. Her work has been featured in magazines and newspapers around the world.

Bella’s main inspiration comes from, nature, flowers, the beauty and colors of ever-changing seasons, beautiful muses, pre Raphaelite paintings, Greek nymphs and their stories, royalty in fairytales and ideas of character’s journey in a darker nature driven world.

“I’ve been taking pictures since the day I discovered my Dad’s camera and claimed it as my own. I began teaching myself Photoshop in 2007 and it wasn’t long before I began to combine the two interests realizing that together they created an amazing and limitless way to tell stories.

Growing up in sun kissed Kenya I was surrounded by color and wild untamed natural life. Since moving to England I now appreciate and long for the beauty of natural bold colors and warm tones.

An aim I gave myself as a teen was to try to travel to a new place every year and so far a few of the places I’ve visited are Japan, Vietnam, Bali, Europe, Morroco, India and even managed to go up into the Arctic Circle. Every new place and experience has a tale to tell and creates stories in me that I try to capture and express.”

After moving from Russia to America, Irina started an art dealer business focused on high-ranking Russian artists, and started to discover her own passion and talent in art.

Through her own painting experience, Irina discovered the healing power of abstract art and its derivatives. Her abstract works are distilled from the soul of nature, infused with a meditative and deeply healing sensation.

“The idea behind my works is to project the positive energy of bright, dynamic colors and make interiors shine.  Create Zen feeling to make people feel happy.

My slogan is, to quote Kandinsky, “To bring the whole into harmony on the canvas is what leads to a work of art.” I like art images look simple, beautiful and exquisite.  Based on original oils, derivative patterns have been designed for giclees, wallpaper and textile applications.  Collection of patterns and hues offers mix and match combination of original paintings, giclees, upholstery, curtains and hand-made rugs – all in one package.”
